The Legacy 600 and a mock up of the Phenom 300 were on display at the sixth annual International Aviation Trade Show and Convention which held from May 24 to May 26 in Mexico City. Embraer sought to dazzle guests with the spaciousness, comfort and luxury of the cabin spaces of the jets.

Embraer announced today that K2 SmartJets will begin operations in Greece with one Legacy 600 jet. The company has negotiated an option to order an additional two jets in the future.

Don McKneely and Sharon Patterson, co-founders of Billion Dollar Roundtable, announced its acceptance of Boeing as one of its newest members last week in New York. Billion Dollar Roundtable is an organization formed in 2001 for the purpose of bringing together major companies that spend at least a billion dollars annually to the growth of woman-owned and minority-owned businesses.

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) increases its exceptional client service in the UK by appointing TAG Farnborough, one of the TAG Aviation Holding subsidiaries, an authorized service center for the HBC Hawker 800-series. TAG Farnborough is to become the second facility certified to perform maintenance on the Hawker models and one of over 100 around the world.

May 24, 2007 marked the 7,500th single engine piston aircraft produced at Cessna’s Independence facility. Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, reports that over the next 14 months it will provide eleven Model 172 Skyhawks to Northwestern Michigan College as an upgrade to its training fleet.
