On May 3, 2007 Gulfstream Aerospace celebrated its fifth anniversary of the APS, Airborne Product Support. Gulfstream Aerospace is the first to offer this service to its customers.
APS service is the first-of-its kind airborne aircraft maintenance and repair program that has ever been seen. "We are the first and only manufacturer to dedicate an aircraft solely to assist customers whose aircraft are unexpectedly grounded as a result of needed parts or technical assistance,†said the president and head of product support of Gulfstream.
The APS service has been in service since May 6, 2002 and has completed more than 1,350 successful missions. It is no surprise that this service is so successful.
They operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year assistance. That means no matter what day you are operating your personal plane, you can be assured that there will be an APS support plane ready to assist you.
