28 Year Veteran Gets Promotion At Cessna
Stan Younger was recently promoted to vice president, Service Facilities, for the Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. Younger has been working for Cessna for 28 years in the customer support organization. He wasn’t always in this position though as when he first started working for the company he was an A&P mechanic in 1979.
The Cessna Aircraft Company produces the largest number of aviation airplanes. Last year, Cessna sold 1,239 aircrafts which earned them $4.2 billion.
"Stan brings to this new role both an in-depth technical knowledge of our product and an intense focus on customer satisfaction – skills that will be critical as we move Cessna’s customer support to a new level of excellence," says Mark Paolucci, senior vice president, Customer Service.
Younger will be responsible for all the activities of multiple locations which include ten Citation service centers and two dozen authorized service centers around the globe.
Based on unit sales, Cessna Aircraft Company is the world’s largest manufacturer of general aviation airplanes. In 2006, Cessna delivered 1,239 aircraft, including 307 Citation business jets, and reported revenues of about $4.2 billion and a backlog of $8.5 billion.
