Comlux New Airbus A318 Elite Is High In Quality And Small In Size

Comlux, a charter company based in Zurich, took delivery of its first Airbus A381 Elite recently. The Airbus is the first of five ordered for Comlux and features the comfort the Airbus is known for while provided a smaller craft size that can be marketed to a larger demographic.  

Comlux’s new Airbus features 18 passenger seating dived into four distinct cabin-zones providing a new level of privacy and maneuverability to its passengers.   Each cabin-zone is like an apartment of it’s own with a lounge, dining area, bedroom and social area.

The Airbus A318 Elite promises to bring a higher standard of quality to the aircraft charter business. Comlux President and CEO Ettore Rodaro says, "When you are in the business of providing comfort and space to a discerning clientele, you want the best in the business to provide it, which is what we now have with the Airbus A318 Elite."

The Airbus 318 Elite is the third Airbus for the Airbus ACJ Family, which also include the ACJ and A320 Prestige and have become the choice for highest quality corporate jets. Orders for the Airbus ACJ Family number more than 80 and are expected to increase with time due in part to its habit of introducing new models regularly. This new model, the Airbus 318 Elite, boasts a VIP cabin, extra-fuel tanks for longer flights, a higher possible cruise altitude and built in airstairs. It’s easy to see why the Airbus ACJ Family is fast becoming the name to know in corporate aircrafts.
