Bombardier Business Jets Expanding in Europe

May 23, 2007

VistaJet, a Swiss airliner, has ordered 17 Bombardier business jets in the last year. Included in this order are a Global Express XRS business jet and a pair of Learjet XR light jets. Altogether, this represents a $450 million boost for Bombardier Aerospace.

According to Bing Chen, chief executive officer of VistaJet, “The Bombardier family of proven, high-performance jets offers us the prestige and product range to further enhance VistaJet’s brand equity as a premier provider of charter services.”

With such proven technology Bombardier Aerospace puts on the market, including popular models like the Learjet 40 XR, the Learjet 45 XR, and the Learjet 60 XR, it is hard to see how the purchasing will not further enhance his company’s reputation for quality service.

Of the jets included in this most recent order, perhaps the most impressive is the Global Express XRS business jet. This model features the largest cabin and floor space of any corporate aircraft. Add to this interior comfort the remarkable capacity for long non-stop flights, and this jet proves its worth as an investment.

The slightly smaller Learjet XR aircraft still retains much of the appeal of its bigger brother. Housing from six to seven passengers, this jet is known for its excellent performance in hot weather conditions, as well as its quick ascent rate, reaching 43,000 feet in only 23 minutes.
