May 25, 2007

Ocean Sky Aviation is expanding its operations with its recent order of a Boeing Business Jet, a model with a $51 million price tag. The Ocean Sky order is the ninth BBJ sold this year.

Boeing said that charter companies are about 10 percent of its BBJ
clientele.

“We are convinced the that BBJ is the right tool to help Ocean Sky grow its business,” said Boeing Business Jest president, Steven Hill.

With 807 square feet of cabin, the BBJ offers spacious  accommodations while offering top-flight performance.

Boeing also had a big week with a highly publicized sale of a VIP 787 sold to real estate magnate Joseph Lau, from Hong Kong. The cost for that model is $153 million.  The 787 boasts 2404 square feet of cabin space, making it a veritable home in the sky. Its long-range cruising range makes it possible to conduct business from virtually anywhere in the world.
