K2 SmartJets Begins Private Jet Operations In Greece With The Legacy 600

Embraer announced today that K2 SmartJets will begin operations in Greece with one Legacy 600 jet. The company has negotiated an option to order an additional two jets in the future.

Anreas Karotsieris, CEO of the company commented that, "The Legacy 600 will enable us to offer premium flight services to our member clients and third-party charter operators".

The cabin space is luxurious and large, and the company feels that it will be a significant asset as they expand their operations.

The Legacy 600 has a range of 3250 nautical miles, and will be able to transport 19 passengers comfortably to any city in the EU. Greece has a rich transportation history, and a growing demand for the services of private jets.

The Greek Air Force is already using the Legacy 600, but the company is to be the first civilian based group to fly the jet out of Athens Airport.

K2 SmartJets was founded in 2007 by a group of entrepreneurs, and plan to offer private jet and charter services. They plan to offer exceptional hospitality and service to their clients.

The Legacy is a large and comfortable plane, capable of transporting 19 passengers. The interior is luxuriously appointed and offers all the latest avionic and entertainment technologies.

The jet is priced at 24.7 million$
