Richard Branson In the Private Jet Business- Becomes First Jet Matchmaker

Virgin Airways’ Richard Branson has decided to branch out and dabble in the private jet charter business. His plan, Virgin Charter, calls for matching people looking for private flights with private jet owners who have empty jet time available. Often jets will return to an area empty after dropping off a client.

Branson wants to help reduce wasted fuel by providing passengers for those flights. Branson insists that he won’t be purchasing jets for his own use but will instead focus on playing "matchmaker"
