Jumpjet, a recent addition to the corporate aircraft industry, launched an offer for private jet flights at prices less expensive than most commercial airplane tickets.
Will Ashcroft, CEO and founder of Jumpjet points out that by collecting monthly fees for predetermined amounts of flights, Jumpjet can undercut the costs of other jet owners.
Individuals can choose one of three monthly membership options while companies are offered a more customizable selection. The options are all the same: a monthly payment for a certain number of flights and guests each month.
There are tighter requirements on these flights such as advanced bookings and the
chance that the jet won’t be completely private but Jumpjet says this is what makes
their program so affordable. Companies, even small companies, can be charged from
7,500 to 10,000 a month for just five roundtrips. That’s affordable? Jumpjet also
offers usage information to businesses that they might need for record keeping.
