Dassault Falcon to open Factory Service Center in Nevada

October 20, 2008

Earlier this month, Dassault Falcon announced plans to build a new factory-owned service center at the Reno-Tahoe Airport. The facility is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2009, which is meant to support a growing Falcon fleet in western US.

As asserted by Dassault Falcon CEO, John Rosanvallon, “The western United States has experienced a sharp increase in demand for new Falcons over the past five years.  This facility in Reno is significant for not only the increased support in that part of the country but also the overall coverage that this adds for the entire United States.”

The facility spans to nearly 40,000 square feet. It will soon be manned by more than 40 Dassault Falcon personnel who will conduct line maintenance. This crew will be supporting the AOG ‘Go Team’ for rapid mobile response to Falcon planes anywhere and anytime in the US. The facility will be supporting all Falcon aircrafts, including the Falcon 50 series, which will be in high concentration within the region.
