Embraer releases a market outlook for China

Yesterday, Embraer released its first market outlook for China during a press conference at Airshow China 2008 in Zhuhai, Guang Dong Province. The extensive analysis covers aviation prospects in the Chinese market for the next 20 years.

The outlook covers related literature on the evolution of Chinese aviation, and it also presents Embraer’s vision for the industry. Embraer forecasts that in the succeeding two decades, the China’s demand for new aircrafts will grow to 875.

The analysis also predicts that the industry will put a premium on fuel-efficiency and environment-friendly technology, both of which are strongly integrated in Embraer’s vision for the industry.

“We believe that the future of the Chinese regional aviation market will generate great opportunities for the players in the aviation industry. Embraer is fully committed to such a market and is well prepared to provide it with outstanding products and services” commented Guan Dongyuan, the president of Embraer China.
