Embraer sells six 195s to Globalia

December 3, 2008

Brazilian aircraft manufacturing company Embraer announced that it has signed a contract to sell six Embraer 195 regional passenger jets worth $237 million to Globalia.

The company announced today that the first of six jets will be delivered by mid-2010.

This is Globalia’s second order of six Embraer 195s. The airline’s subsidiary—Air Europa—currently operated Embraer 195s to conduct short to medium length flights in the European region.
