While the private jet continues to struggle in the West, the industry is taking a different turn in the Middle East.
In UAE, a top air transport company will be launching the region’s first pre-purchased miles scheme, a program that will be launched in conjunction with hotels.
Air Partner will introduce the JetCard programme in April. The broker company has partnered with numerous hotels to help market the product.
“We cannot disclose exactly who, but we have collaborated with certain hotels that are easily able to target our core customer base, and help market and brand the JetCard scheme,” said Kevin Ducksbury, a Director at Air Partner. “We will also be partnering with exclusive clubs and specific luxury brand suppliers.”
The card allows Middle East travelers to purchase 25 hours of flight time or more, which can be used in a flexible basis. It allows customers, who are flying from or within the Middle East, to use any one of an extensive list of private jets.
