Jet Linx and CoGoJets Bring Private Jet Travel Service and Flight Sharing to Dallas Area

May 7, 2009

Jet Linx Aviation, a private jet travel and aircraft management company, and CoGoJets, an online social networking website where members coordinate air travel and book a private jet together on a per-seat, pro rata basis, are partnering with Dallas businessmen to open a Dallas Love Field location in July 2009.

Jamie Walker, CEO of Omaha-based Jet Linx and founder and CEO of CoGoJets, said, "We are thrilled to provide Dallas and the surrounding communities with our unique air travel solutions. Whether you own an aircraft, want to buy time on one or just buy a seat on one, we have a solution to meet your air travel needs."

Jet Linx clients can choose from two programs, aircraft management and jet membership. The aircraft management program offers private jet owners comprehensive management of their aircraft, including charter-revenue and fleet discounts on fuel, maintenance, pilot training and insurance. For those who wish to travel by private jet but not to own their own aircraft, the jet membership program offers a zero-risk introduction into private aviation, with guaranteed availability of a jet, 25-hours at a time, and a fully refundable membership deposit at a cost up to 35 percent lower than its national competitors.

CoGoJets’ members have the ability to coordinate their travel plans online, via the CoGoJets.com website, and split the cost of a private jet on a per-seat, pro rata basis with other like-minded members going to the same destination. Once the flight is booked, CoGoJets then arranges a safety-approved aircraft from one of its air carrier partners to perform the flight.

Said Walker, "CoGoJets offers its members a platform where they can realize the time-savings of private jet travel and the per-seat economics of commercial travel. It’s the industry’s most efficient air travel solution." In addition to saving time and money, CoGoJets’ members can also help save the planet by donating to CoGoJets’ environmental partner Sustainable Travel International(TM).

The Dallas partners are John D. (Denny) Carreker, Jr., Brent Carreker, and Henry Coffeen.

Denny Carreker said, "Our sales and marketing efforts are proving that a growing number of Dallas area business and leisure travelers desire access to private jet travel, but without the responsibility and expense of owning their own aircraft. This partnership with Jet Linx and CoGoJets makes private jet travel more affordable for many more people, while maintaining the unparalleled level of service and value that the companies are already known for.
