Greenjets pioneers shared private jet concept

September 8, 2009

Private jet travelers now have a more economical and environment-friendly way to fly, thanks to Greenjets’ new shared ride service for private jet charter flights.

A confirmed seat on a Greenjets private jet trip from New York to Florida will only cost $1,100 per person with a Greenjet card Black membership. The card is the industry’s first and only shared ride private jet discount card. It allows members to save up to 60 percent or more on private jet trips.

The service is currently available in New York, Florida, Chicago, and Boston; but will soon expand to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, and Atlanta. Through 2010 and 2011, the company aims at including Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix in its shared ride network.

The card allows members to book private jet flights at bottom-dollar prices. The company has managed to repackage the private jet experience to a more affordable consumer unit.

Currently, private jet travellers have two options—rent or own a private jet. Both of these options are very expensive. That’s why the Greenjets offer is bound to stand out.
