IAC bolsters private jet fleet in preparation for Eid Al Fitr

September 17, 2009

International Air Charter (IAC), one of the world’s largest independent private charters brokers in the world, has anticipated a surge in demand for private jet services in the Middle East during Eid Al Fitr, which is the end of Ramadan.

IAC has said that it is bolstering its fleet to accommodate the anticipated demand, which has been the general trend for the past years. In addition to this announcement, the charter broker also said that it has hit the target growth for this season, which was to increase its current clientele by 50 percent. The company said that the capacity increase will prepare it for the major influx of religious travellers for the upcoming religious events.

“While IAC has been hitting its growth targets for the season with bookings and reservations steadily increasing, we are expecting a further rush in demand during Eid Al Fitr,” said the IAC. “Accordingly, the next two weeks will be particularly important as this is the period when we often witness an incremental increase in demand. In addition, we have noticed a growing awareness about the advantages and flexibility of private jets, which is a very positive development that will open more business opportunities, particularly during traditional travel seasons such as the Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.”

IAC has 24-hour access to over 50,000 aircraft around the world through its Computerized Aircraft Tracking System (CATS), which is updated daily. It has an extensive fleet that has planes from top manufacturers in the world, including Piaggio, Premier, Hawker, Falcon, Gulfstream, Challenger, Dornier, Global Express, Boeing, VIP Airbus and VIP McDonnell Douglas.
