Private jet accident in Eagle County

A private jet slid sideways at the end of the runway at the Eagle County Regional Airport last Friday, delaying eight commercial flights in the process.

Seven people were on board when the incident happened, but no body was injured and the pilot aborted the takeoff.

Airport officials say that the incident occurred 12:25PM.

The private jet was headed for Mexico.

The runway was closed for two hours due to the incident.
