Canouan sets record for private jet arrivals last Christmas

Private jets were all over the Caribbean island of Canouan during the holidays in record numbers. The island has a 5,900 ft. runway, making it easily accessible for private jets without payload restrictions.

“We have been delighted to welcome 123 private jets this December,” explained Nelcia Hardaway, the General Manager of Canouan Airport. “The popularity of this luxury destination to this specific market has been growing steadily over the last year. We peaked at 18 private jets on more than one day. It’s really very special to see guests arriving from as far afield as London on direct flights. There is virtually no private jet that can’t land here now.”

With several tourist spots in the island, Canouan is definitely one of the best luxury destinations in the world.
