Delta AirElite acquires Segrave Aviation

January 22, 2010

Delta AirElite, Delta Airlines’ private jet subsidiary, is acquiring Segrave Aviation. The acquisition will increase AirElite’s fleet, almost doubling its initial size.

The Atlanta-based company said that the acquisition will add 21 private jets to its fleet. It will also improve Delta AirElite’s internet procedures, like booking and other options.

The company caters to high-value customers, such as business owners and those who have limited access to commercial flights.

Segrave Aviation will now become a fully-owned subsidiary of Delta AirElite. However, the integration will include some job transfers and job cuts.
