First Boeing 787 to be delivered at the end of 2010

February 5, 2010

Boeing, the American airplane maker, says that it will be delivering the first Boeing 787 by year end.

Two of the mid-sized jet models are already being flight tested. Two more aircraft are expected to undergo testing later this month and the first delivery to Japan’s All Nippon Airways is expected to be fulfilled by the fourth quarter of 2010.

Singapore Airlines has already ordered 20 models.

Boeing is expecting lesser deliveries for the year. The company said that they are expecting to deliver 460-465 aircraft by the end of 2010. On a good note, Boeing says that it expects less cancellations for the year.
