Vistajet projects more growth from Asian market

February 8, 2010

Vistajet, the world’s second largest private aviation company, is forecasted to see further growth in its industry in Asia and the Middle East.

In 2009, the company’s revenue grew by an impressive 20 percent and Vistajet says that it is already taking six aircraft deliveries this year.

Asia is projected to lead the recovery of the global aviation sector, and Vistajet sees it as a ket region for its expansion.

“Asia is very important, I think for any company in the world now, Asia is a very strong focus,” said Adrien Chazottes, vice-president of VistaJet at the Asia-Pacific region. “Asia has recovered much quicker than anywhere else and there is an increase in the traffic flows. We can also see an increase in the business and e-deals being done, increase in interest so it is really a very strategic point for us.”

The company is expecting increased demand for private jets in key Asian markets, like Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and China.

“Well, this year we expect the markets to recover and grow as we expect the global markets to recover, but to give you some figures, last year we saw growth in revenue of about 20 per cent,” expounded Chazottes.

The company has ambitious growth plans for 2010—it is aiming to double company size within the next two years.
