Embraer works with BMW to design private jet interior

Embraer, the Brazilian private jet manufacturer, is working with BMW DesignworksUSA to design the interiors of its Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jet models.

The collaboration represents six years of work. The interior will sport BMW’s trademark value for efficiency.

BMW-style controls were finely integrated onto the cockpit layout and instrumentation. BMW Design also added several functional details to the interior, including baggage storage, cup holders, and seat controls.

Customers will be able to choose from seven different color schemes. Reportedly, 100 jets have already been produced and 600 more orders are waiting to be filled.
