The Inside Line: Jet Firm’s Grand Prix Package Takes off in Spectacular Fashion

May 26, 2010

[BUSINESS WIRE] — The AT&T Williams Grand Prix Experience, which is provided by leading personal aviation company Cloud9 International in partnership with the Grove-based race team, has already taken 200 seat bookings for glamorous fixtures such as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Despite only recently being rolled out for selected races in the 2010 season, with a view to offering it for every event in 2011, Cloud9 has seen a huge amount of interest in the new package from both businesses looking to use it for corporate entertainment and also well-heeled race fans looking for something different.

The exclusive package allows invited guests to travel by private jet to selected Grand Prix, complete with the finest cuisine and in-flight service, chauffeur transfers and the very best Formula One experience in the AT&T Williams hospitality suite. The AT&T Williams Grand Prix Experience also provides bespoke concierge support, with the opportunity to take advantage of other additional services in a tailored package personalised to each customer.

There has been strong demand for the package at events such as the star-studded and flood-lit night race in Singapore and the season finale at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina circuit among corporate sponsors – who see the high-profile events as ideal venues for doing business with other international companies.

CEO Andrew Mason commented:

“We have been delighted at the response from both our clients and AT&T Williams’ corporate sponsors to the Grand Prix Experience. When we put it together both Cloud9 and AT&T Williams felt it was offering something truly unique and special for business customers and fans who wanted to go to races in style but also in a way that saved them valuable time and took the hassle away from organising it all. In particular we’ve had lots of interest in the showpiece events such as Singapore and Abu Dhabi, which have become jewels in the crown of the race season calendar. As well as providing a spectacle they also offer excellent opportunities to do business with like-minded individuals. With so many guests already booked to enjoy the AT&T Williams Grand Prix Experience this year we expect the numbers to grow significantly in 2011, and we are very excited about the future of the partnership.”
