Viennese couple dies in tragic private jet crash

A retired Viennese couple died in a private jet crash in Italy last Saturday.

Bonomo police said that Ottfried H. and Angela died instantly when their MBB BO 209 plane caught fire after crashing nearby a northern Italian town.

Officials say that fog might have been the primary factor for the accident.

Ottfried was 72 years old and his wife was 66 years old. Ottfried is said to be an experienced pilot.

The couple was on their way to Cannes from Losinj.
