Mark Cuban, the billionaire sports mogul, is one of the ultimate jet setters in the United States (US).
Cuban owns three private jets, including a Gulfstream V, a Boeing 757, and a Boeing 767.
He purchased the Gulfstream in 1999 for $40 million online—a purchase recorded by Guinness as the largest e-commerce buy ever.
“Since I’ve owned the GV, there are too many examples to count of how the airplane has helped me,” explained Cuban to the Business Jet Traveler. “Flying out after a late-night game to be at a meeting the next morning. Leaving a meeting to get home in time for my daughter’s first daddy-daughter dance. It’s part of my life that I can’t be without.”
He continued: “It means I have more hours in my day to spend with friends and family. It means I can get more work done. It means I can travel comfortably with my family. It’s a life- and game-changer.”
When asked about the possible public relations backlash, Cuban said that each business leader has to make their own decisions. “I get to work while they get to stand in line at the airport,” said Cuban.
