Private jet company to set up in Montrose

A private jet manufacturing plant may soon locate to Montrose, if it wins out against a competing city.

Jesse Smith, County Manager, along with other officials met last week to discuss the possibility of constructing a plant in Montrose.

Officials say that there were more than 30,000 competing cities for the manufacturing plant—owned by an unnamed company—but Montrose is among the final two to be considered.
