Introducing WannaJet

July 17, 2010

Businessmen may want to consider upgrading their flight accommodations with a new private jet service offered by a Stamford resident.

Philippe Bo, a former chief financial officer for General Electric, has introduced WannaJet, a new company that offers seats on private jets at a price that’s comparable to commercial bookings.

“As a frequent flyer of commercial and private, I thought it would be great to make private jets affordable by splitting the cost among four to six passengers,” explained Bo. “I decided to take a risk and do something I always wanted to do, which is run my own business.”

A traveler can book a flight on a private jet through WannaJet by posting or joining a travel schedule.

The company offers 25 flight routes that are limited to three-hour differences.
“There’s enough traffic on these routes where I can be 95 percent sure that if people post an itinerary, they will have at least three other passengers with them,” said Bo. “I’m trying to bring back the excitement to traveling.”
