Man steals credit card and uses it to book a private jet flight

October 28, 2010

Last Tuesday, a man from Newark was arrested on allegations that he booked a private jet trip using a stolen credit card.

Authorities say that Ralph Taylor is attempted to book a private jet flight from Teterboro Airport to Los Angeles with a stolen credit card. He’s being charged with theft of service, unauthorized credit card use, and impersonation.

Taylor reportedly contacted a private jet charter using the name Johnathan Stemler.

Stemler, who is the victim, said that he received a confirmation call from a private jet company for a flight to New York from Teterboro Airport.

Taylor was apprehended at the airport on October 31 2009. He is currently being held in the Manhattan Federal Correctional Center on unrelated federal charges. For his private jet related cases, he’s being charged $50,000 for bail.

  1. Just make sure the funds are wired and not credit cards next time to avoid messing with frauds
