Private jet owners can now purchase the most expensive app on the Android market. ASiQ Limited Australia has introduced SafeCell, the world’s most affordable in-flight mobile phone solution for private jets.
“The app is very fast, which means that making a call at 30,000 feet or sending a message is just as simple as if you were using your mobile on the ground,” described Ron Chapman, ASiQ’s CEO.
The new app costs from $12,500—for a single-channel license—to $17,500 for a multi-channel license. While this maybe expensive, the company says its prices are relatively cheaper compared to conventional mobile phone technology which usually costs $350-$500K.
SafeCell works in the United States, as well as other selected countries.
