Prince Charles will be heading to the United States in a chartered private jet.
Joe Allbriton lent his aircraft to the prince to reduce travel costs.
Reports say that it will be the first time that the heir to the throne will travel via a private jet, paid for by a private individual. This will likely save thousands of taxpayer’s money. However, the Prince may face criticism from green lobbyists.
The private jet will board the Prince, four members of the royal household, and another individual. He will visit Washington to meet with President Barack Obama. The monarchial heir will also make a keynote speech at Georgetown University about sustainable agriculture.
