Iron Maiden’s private jet was recently borrowed by an airline to transport tourists from Scotland to Greece and Turkey.
The aircraft, which is aptly named “Ed Force One,” sports custom interior designs, including iron maiden logos and flight number 666. Usually, the plane is piloted by lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson. The band uses the private jet whenever they’re on tour.
The plane is owned by Astraeus Airlines, which gave Dickinson his official pilot license. When the band isn’t using it, the plane is used by the airline as commercial transport. However, it recently needed it in a short notice. So, there was no time to remove the band’s custom-made interiors.
As a result, travelers had the honor of flying with Iron Maiden’s logos and identifiers.
