Rich Nigerians purchased six private jets worth a total value of more the $25 million. The acquisitions increased the number of private jets in the country to around 70, according to reporters.
The luxury jets were bought by renowned individuals in the Area: Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga and David Oyedepo. The planes came from Bombardier and Gulfstream—two top-caliber private aviation companies.
The lower wage workers in Nigeria will look at these purchases with opulence. The state is having problems paying the newly approved minimum wage of $120.
